Itinerary

  1. 1
    Stop 1

2 hr - Embarkation time is at 08:30am. You will be picked up by our complimentary shared transportation to reach the embarkation point. One of our cruise representatives will greet you and give you an overview of the cruise itinerary. Important safety information will follow. At 09:00 am we lift the anchors heading to Rhenia & Delos islands, the center of the Cyclades and located few miles south-west of Mykonos. After approximately 1 hour sailing, we will arrive at the untouched island of Rhenia, separated from the sacred island of Delos by just a small strait. Dropped anchor in the idyllic bay surrounded by crystal clear turquoise waters, enjoy a refreshing swimming. Snorkeling gear is available on board for free use at your convenience. A wonderfully spacious outdoor environment on board our 112-foot long sailing yacht allows to all our guests to never feel confined and enjoy sunbathing on comfortable deck cushions. Tends for shadow from the sun are also available. Lunch is ready at the ringing bell sound with a feast of traditional Greek flavours served with Mediterranean style buffet and a selection of complimentary wine, draft beers and soft drinks.

  2. 2
    Archaeological Site of Delos

2 hr - After approximately 2 hours spent in the untouched islet of Rhenia, the next stop is Delos Island, one of the most important archaeological sites of Greek history for our Licensed Guided Tour. We spend about 1½ hour with our professional English-speaking guide and about 30 minutes free time exploring the UNESCO-listed Island of Delos, visiting the museum, walking up Mount Kynthos (367 feet high) and admiring the staggering array of ancient ruins. According to mythology, Delos is the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and the sanctuary to both gods serves as the center of a large Hellenistic city of about 30.000 inhabitants. We are ready at 03:30 pm to sail back to Mykonos. Arrival is scheduled by 04:30 pm. Our complimentary shared transportation is waiting for you. We will say goodbye in the Greek way with a farewell drink toast and returning home full of euphoria for having shared with you our Greece, whose destiny is bound to the sea and sailing is the best way to experience it.

AMAZING SAIL!

This was a great day trip sail and tour of Delos! We went the last Sunday of August and had a lovely day on this beautiful sailboat. It was a bit more people than I had expected but still enough room to lounge on the top of the boat. Most people kept to themselves both lounging, swimming, eating, etc. The staff was super gracious and made sure our drinks were always full. The food was tasty and wine was good. We had a lovely time at Rhenia until the obnoxious tour boat pulled up with like 300 passengers jumping into the water. Delos was great with the best tour guide. She was very informative and gave a lot of history. Be sure to TIP both the guide & the boat staff!!!!! We were the only ones that did & they really work hard and should be shown appreciation.

Blue skies, blue seas, and an amazing day

Sunfos runs a tight ship that is both professional and relaxed. Our cruise combined impeccable service with a low-key native expertise that allowed us to experience the well-curated itinerary to the fullest—from the secluded beauty of Rhenia’s beach and the aquamarine majesty of the Aegean, to the delicious local flavors of our lunch and the fascinating journey into the ancient past of Delos. Highly recommended for families, couples, singles, and anyone else interested in getting to know the Greek islands on and off land.

Great Trip

Highly recommended! Included ride to and from the hotel. When we arrived to the port we were welcomed immediately and boarded. Overall captain and first mate were attentive to everyone’s needs, food was delicious, diverse drinks and sufficient amount of time at the island where snorkel gear was provided. Full sailboat experience with about 6 foot swells.

Good

Hotel Pick up was on time and efficient. The boat was lovely and spacious. The food was tasty and simple. (We are foodies) Prepared and served by Despina. Wine in abundance, (included) but hard liquor or beer was at an extra cost. Fruit plater was too small for all the guests on board. Water abundantly available. Crew was attentive and fun The swim at Rhenish, first stop, was wonderful. Refreshing. Second stop, Davos sacred ruins was interesting however too hot. And we could not swim in the water. Not allowed by island. Serious penalty. I would suggest tour should do Davos is the am and Rhenia, in the afternoon. A nice dip in the water would have been welcomed after hot afternoon on Davos. All in all a fun day in the water.
